E. Requirements
·
You
are in full-time ministry.
·
You
are responsible for transportation to and from our remote cabin.
·
Your arrival at the cabin will be scheduled
for Thursday after 12 noon.
·
Your departure from the cabin will be
scheduled the following Thursday before
12 noon.
·
Due
to unpredictable weather, plan on a possible 1-2 night stay in a hotel.
·
No
pets allowed.
·
No
children allowed.
·
You
must be physically fit enough to climb in and out of a boat, stand/walk for at
least one hour at a time and walk without assistance.
·
You
are responsible for purchasing 7 day fishing licenses on-line, before your

Kodiak Island Experience invites one
couple at a time for one week at a time (7-night stay). You will be staying in a private cabin. We provide all meals and lodging while at the
remote site. There is no agenda, we
simply relax and enjoy God’s awesome beauty.
We want you to know and understand the
conditions of remote living. We are
off-grid, which means that we only have electricity when the generators are
running, about 2 hours a day. No TV, no
internet, no cell phone service. We do
have a satellite phone for emergencies that you may use at the cost of $1.00
per minute. We have running water 24/7
as long as there are no bear bites in the line.
The remote site is only accessible by boat or plane.

Procedure
·
Submit
application with 1st and 2nd dates requested.
·
You
will be notified whether or not you’re accepted.
·
If
accepted, you will have 2 weeks to get your tickets. If we have not received flight confirmation
within 2 weeks, your spot will become open to another candidate.

from Anchorage, AK to Kodiak, AK

Bud
will schedule your flight from Town-Kodiak to our cabin. You
will need to pay at the time of service.

The
2010 cost for Andrew Airways floatplane was $353 one-way. That was for the plane, not per person. They land right at our beach!

we receive your flight itinerary, you are officially confirmed.
