photography, kayaking, beach combing, wild life viewing and whale watching.
How do we get to the cabin? Our remote cabin is accessible ONLY by boat

Will I be alone out there? No. You will be our guests.
Is there any electricity? We are off-grid, which means we generate our own
electricity. It is not always available, so be prepared to let your hair dry naturally!
Is there running water? We do have water, but use it conservatively. Our
water comes to the cabin on a gravity-flow system.
Do I need to be in good physical condition? You must be physically fit
enough to climb in and out of a boat, stand/walk for at least one hour at a time,
and walk without assistance.
Do you have a phone? A satellite phone is available for use at $1.00 per
minute.
Is Internet available? No, not while at the remote cabin. However, it is
available in town Kodiak.
Who can come? We take a limited number of Christian pastoral couples per
year in order to ensure the most memorable Kodiak Island Experience. One
couple at a time for a 7 night stay.
How can I apply? Click on the application navigational button and follow the
directions, fill it out and mail it in to us.
Will we have a private room? Your accommodations while remote will be a
private guest cabin. Amenities include indoor plumbing, 1 queen bed with twin
beds in the lofts. Bedding and towels are furnished.
What about food? We provide all meals and snacks at the remote site.
Can we fish? You are responsible for purchasing 7 day fishing licenses on-line,
before your arrival at Alaska Department of Fish and Game:
www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/license/. We fish a portion of 3 days. The days we
fish will depend on the weather.
What will the weather be like? Summer temps range from the 50's at night to
70 degrees in the daytime. Dress in layers and be prepared for rain. You are
responsible for bringing a 2 piece rain suit.

town Kodiak. You will find a variety of gifts and souvenirs to choose from.
What if there's an emergency? The US Coast Guard rescue helicopters can
